  5. The PlugIn doesn't pop up, if there is image loaded/selected in ArtEffect.
  6. ArtEffect simply doesn't call a printer-plugin when there is nothing to print.

  8. The PostScript output is using Level 2 operators and will probably not print
  9. on Level 1 implementations.

  11. This is also the cause, why POST.LIBRARY wether old or new (HWGPost) IS
  12. INCAPABLE of displaying the files produced by this PlugIn.

  14. Please use Ghostscript instead to proof the output.

  16. Please note that the settings for Printer DPI and WantedNumberofGrays DO NOT
  17. have any effect on the outputquality. The PlugIn doesn't downscale images or
  18. reduce the colors of the output picture.
  19. These settings are just the needed input to calculate an optimal screening for
  20. your printer.

  22. I tried to give the GUI some "supervising intelligence" (hope it will not
  23. behave to nerving).
  24. Mostly done are modechanges to the mode in that a just changed value is
  25. meaningful. So, don't be astonished, there is no poltergeist :)
